The brilliant designer leading this unusual evolution in art is Jonathan Leon. He was born Jonathan Benjamin Leon, December 19, 1974, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from a french-Canadian mother and Moroccan father.Having worked at his grand-parents stained glass studio in Florida, USA, from the age of 6 to 11, Jonathan was just 14 when he met the chief scientific glassblower from Hoffman-Laroche who had immigrated to Canada upon his retirement. Jonathan apprenticed with him for 3 and a half years.
